RD Biamonte Award in English Literature of the Romantic Period

The RD Biamonte Award in English Literature of the Romantic Period is awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing in any year of a Bachelor of Arts in English at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated achievement in the area of British Romantic Literature. This endowed award honors Edmonton high school teacher Don Biamonte of Archbishop MacDonald High School. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship system.
