About this opportunity

The RE Fraser Scholarship for Excellence in Teaching is awarded annually to surgical residents with superior achievement in the residency training program entering the final two years of surgical training in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta. Recipients will be the residents who best exemplify a commitment to teaching and professionalism, and who serve as role models to co-workers and the undergraduate medical students. This scholarship was established through endowed funds by Friends and Colleagues of the Department of Surgery and Dr RE Fraser in recognition of Dr Fraser's many contributions to the Department of Surgery and the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
