About this opportunity
The Rebecca Kelln Métis Bursary Fund supports Métis students in Alberta who are pursuing their first and second year of post-secondary education. This bursary was established in memory of Rebecca Kelln, a valued employee of Apeetogosan (Métis) Development Inc., whose kindness, dedication, and commitment to helping others left a lasting impact on the organization and the clients she served. The bursary is offered annually to support first and second year Métis post-secondary students with no restrictions on how the funds may be used. Applicants must provide proof of Métis ancestry, demonstrate financial need, have been a resident of Alberta for at least three years prior to applying, show commitment to or involvement in an Alberta community, and be enrolled full-time in a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada.
