About this opportunity
One scholarship, valued at $1,000, is awarded annually to a full-time undergraduate student entering Year One in the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies on the basis of academic achievement combined with recreation-based community involvement and leadership. This fund was established to honour the founders of the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies: Jack Pearse, Chuck Griffith, and David Ng. The scholarship is open to both Canadian/Permanent residents and international students. Applicants must complete the Faculty of Health Entrance Scholarships form available through the Waterloo applicant portal under the Awards and financial aid tab.
