Red Deer Polytechnic Board of Governors Scholarship For Citizenship

The Red Deer Polytechnic Board of Governors Scholarship for Citizenship recognizes students who demonstrate exemplary citizenship within both the institution and the broader community. This scholarship is awarded to full-time students who have been actively enrolled at Red Deer Polytechnic for the Fall and Winter terms and are returning to continue their full-time studies. Candidates must show active participation in groups and/or organizations while maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.70. Citizenship is evaluated based on the student's efforts to improve the quality of life in the community as a whole or within a specific sector. The award provides $2,000 CAD to one recipient annually and is designed to recognize and support students who balance academic performance with meaningful community engagement and leadership.
