Red Deer Polytechnic Support Staff Legacy Apprenticeship Scholarship

The Red Deer Polytechnic Support Staff Legacy Apprenticeship Scholarship supports apprentices enrolled in apprenticeship programs at Red Deer Polytechnic. The scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to students who are members of AUPE (Alberta Union of Provincial Employees) or immediate family members of AUPE members. The award recognizes both financial need and academic achievement among apprentices continuing their studies in subsequent years of their program. Two awards of $1,500 each are available annually to eligible apprentices who attended an apprenticeship program in the most recent academic year and are continuing their studies at Red Deer Polytechnic in the upcoming academic year (unless they are in their final year of training). Preference is given first to those affiliated with Red Deer Polytechnic AUPE members, then to those affiliated with AUPE members Alberta-wide, and finally to all apprentices regardless of AUPE affiliation.
