Red Deer Polytechnic Support Staff Legacy Continuing Scholarship

The Red Deer Polytechnic Support Staff Legacy Continuing Scholarship supports full-time students who attended Red Deer Polytechnic in the most recent academic year and are continuing their studies in the subsequent year. The scholarship is designed to support students who are members of AUPE (Alberta Union of Provincial Employees), immediate family members of AUPE members, or those sponsored by an AUPE member. Preference is given first to those affiliated with a Red Deer Polytechnic AUPE member, second to those affiliated with any AUPE member in Alberta, and third to all students regardless of AUPE affiliation. Recipients are selected based on both financial need and academic achievement. The scholarship is funded by the Red Deer Polytechnic Support Staff Legacy Endowment and awards two scholarships of $1,500 each annually.
