Redningsplanken

Redningsplanken is a grant program for heritage-worthy buildings and structures in Troms county, Norway. The program is intended as first aid to prevent further deterioration while awaiting funding from other sources, or for urgent measures with significant impact before more comprehensive restoration work. For the 2026 application year, the maximum grant amount has increased from NOK 30,000 to NOK 50,000. Applications are also now accepted for courses in traditional crafts and dating of buildings using dendrochronological methods. Outbuildings such as boathouses, storage buildings, and barns are prioritized. Typical grant amounts range from NOK 10,000 to 50,000.
