Redwood Local Scholarship Application

The Redwood Local Scholarship Application provides graduating high school seniors in Josephine County, Oregon, access to over 200 scholarship funds totaling $500,000 in awards through a single application. The program is open to students living in Josephine County or attending one of six designated high schools: Grants Pass, Hidden Valley, North Valley, Illinois Valley, Rogue River, and Glendale. The application process consists of two steps: a main application covering general qualifications for most scholarships, and additional essays or requirements for specific scholarships. Students must provide demographic and financial information, list their activities, obtain two letters of recommendation, and complete four personal essay questions addressing their educational plans, community involvement, personal accomplishments, and how their background has shaped them. The application opens on November 1 and closes on February 6th for the main application, with additional essays due by February 27th.
