About this opportunity
The Reed Penington Family Trust Scholarship was established to benefit those students who, through no fault of their own, are unable to complete one or more of their final two years of schooling because of lack of funds. This scholarship supports current Colorado residents who are full-time undergraduate degree-seeking candidates at post-secondary institutions located in Colorado. Applications are reviewed based on academic performance, financial need, and ability to graduate within the next two academic years. Recipients must maintain a cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.75 or higher and demonstrate financial need. The scholarship is renewable for up to one additional year while pursuing an undergraduate degree, with individuals able to receive awards up to a total of two times. Award amounts may be used toward tuition, fees, books, room and board, and additional cost of attendance expenses.
