Refusjon av skadefellingsutgifter for kommuner

This funding opportunity allows Norwegian municipalities to apply for reimbursement of expenses incurred in connection with predator culling attempts (rovvilt skadefelling) that have been approved by the County Governor (Statsforvalteren) and where the culling is carried out by municipally or inter-municipally appointed hunting teams. The reimbursement follows regulations §§ 9 and 9a in the predator management regulations, and expenses will be refunded within the financial framework specified in each individual decision. Participants receiving compensation under this scheme must be registered licensed hunters. The application system allows for easy upload of files with lists of participants and the number of work days. This is a rolling reimbursement program for municipalities dealing with predator management costs.
