Regionale miljøtilskudd

Regionale miljøtilskudd (Regional Environmental Subsidies) is a funding program offered by Engerdal Kommune in Norway that supports agricultural enterprises in implementing environmental conservation measures. The grant aims to preserve cultural landscapes, biological diversity, cultural environments and monuments, and accessibility in agricultural landscapes while reducing the use of pesticides, air emissions, and water runoff. The program covers seven different action groups including cultural landscape preservation, biological diversity, cultural heritage, water runoff reduction, air emissions reduction, plant protection, and environmental agreements. Applicants must be agricultural enterprises registered in the Entity Register that conduct regular agricultural production on one or more agricultural properties and have implemented measures on land they manage during the application year. Grazing associations can also apply for support for their operations. Funding rates are set annually by the County Governor in consultation with professional organizations and are typically published in June.
