About this opportunity

Troms fylkeskommune administers Regional Facilitation Funds for Business Development and Competence Enhancement (RT-funds) in agriculture. From 2025, the Recruitment and Competence Enhancement (RK) and Regional Facilitation Funds (RT) in agriculture were merged into RT-funds. The funds are managed in accordance with regulations on regional facilitation funds in agriculture. The program supports regional facilitation measures within agricultural business development, including initiatives that contribute to recruitment and competence enhancement among business operators. Applications must be anchored in the Regional Business Program for Agriculture 2019-2024, which has been extended through 2026 with an accompanying action program. Priority focus areas include reputation, recruitment, competence, agronomy, milk production, meat production, potatoes/vegetables/berries, modernization of farm buildings, organic farming, forest-based value creation, food processing, tourism, and farm-based services. Emergency preparedness in Troms, especially regarding food security, is part of the application scheme and included in the application criteria. The funds are allocated as grants and support is not provided for investments or ordinary operations.
Applications submitted by March 10, 2026 are planned to be processed by the Main Committee on May 13, 2026
