Regionalt forprosjekt FORREGION Vestfold 2026

FORREGION Vestfold is a grant program designed to mobilize businesses in Vestfold, Norway, to engage in research and innovation activities. The program aims to finance smaller R&D projects for companies with little or no previous R&D experience. The initiative supports pre-projects that demonstrate potential for value creation and sustainable innovation, whether developing new or improved products, services, or production processes. Companies must collaborate with an approved R&D institution and demonstrate ambition to continue research collaboration beyond the preliminary project. The program focuses on three thematic areas: green transition in industry and technology, green transition in natural resources and agriculture, and private companies with demanding public sector partners. FORREGION seeks to mobilize businesses to utilize other research support mechanisms such as Regional Research Funds, the Research Council's innovation programs, SkatteFUNN, or Horizon Europe.
