Regionalt kulturfond i Akershus

Regionalt kulturfond i Akershus is a grant program that aims to contribute to good local communities and an open, inclusive, and diverse cultural life throughout the county. The fund stimulates increased activity and participation in cultural life, strengthens the interaction between professional and voluntary cultural life, reinforces local and regional cultural volunteerism, and contributes to increased quality of art and cultural offerings locally and regionally. The program supports various activities and projects including events, competence development, project development, collaborative projects, dissemination, production, honoraria for professional instructors, equipment, and certain ongoing costs. Both professional cultural actors and cultural volunteers can apply for the fund. Municipalities cannot apply for projects in their own capacity but can be collaboration partners or facilitators for projects led by professional or voluntary cultural actors, with exceptions for initiatives from youth. Organizations or institutions that receive operational support from Akershus County Council can apply for support for projects that fall outside their ordinary operations or contractual assignments.
