Reid Endowment Fund

The Reid Endowment Fund supports environmental science students at the University of the Highlands and Islands attending science and technology practicals. The fund specifically addresses the financial barriers that have prevented some students from participating in these essential educational opportunities. The cost of travel and accommodation for such trips has, in the past, proved to be too much for some students, who have had to miss out on these opportunities. Recipients are decided by The Reid Fund Committee, ensuring fair allocation of resources to students who need support for attending practical sessions regardless of their financial circumstances.
