Reisetilskudd

Reisetilskudd is a Norwegian travel allowance subsidy provided by NAV (Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration) as an alternative to sickness benefits when it enables the recipient to work fully or partially. The program covers necessary extra travel expenses to and from work when an individual has temporary health issues that prevent them from using their regular means of transportation. The subsidy can be combined with graded sickness benefits and is designed to keep people in work despite temporary health limitations that affect their ability to commute. The allowance replaces sickness benefits and is limited to the amount the recipient would have received in sickness benefits for the same period.
