Renato Ugo Scholarship

The Renato Ugo Scholarship is a new scholarship program introduced by the Dompé Foundation in 2025 to support advanced studies in chemistry in the United States. Named in honor of Professor Renato Ugo, an internationally renowned chemist and prominent figure in the Italian and global scientific community, this scholarship supports students and researchers pursuing master's, PhD, or postdoctoral programs. The scholarship is open to students and researchers of all nationalities who are already enrolled in Master's, PhD, or postdoctoral programs in Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry at U.S.-based research centers and institutions. The program provides USD 25,000 per year per student for a duration of 2-3 years. Through this initiative, the Dompé Foundation aims to strengthen the longstanding academic collaboration between Italy and the United States, in partnership with AIRI (Associazione Italiana per la Ricerca Industriale). One scholarship is available for the 2025/2026 academic year.
