Renee A. Meyers Scholarship

The Renee A. Meyers Scholarship is awarded to a graduate student in the Department of Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee who demonstrates excellence in research, teaching, and service. Research excellence is measured by published work in academic books or journals, presentations at communication conferences, development of a cohesive research program, and similar criteria. Excellence in teaching is evaluated through innovative teaching practices, demonstrated leadership as an instructor, and quantitative/qualitative teaching evaluations. Service contributions include involvement in the Department, University, community, or Communication discipline, committee participation and leadership, peer review activities, and community volunteering. Applicants must provide comprehensive information documenting their accomplishments in each of these three areas.
