Research and Development (R&D) Grants

Scottish Enterprise's R&D grants support companies looking to research and develop new products, processes, or services, or significantly improve existing ones. The program offers financial support for innovative projects that improve business competitiveness, encourage further R&D activity, and benefit the Scottish economy. The grants focus on economic transformation priorities including creating an internationally competitive energy transition industry, scaling innovation strengths into high-growth industries, and driving capital investment for productivity improvements. Support is available for both independent company projects and collaborative consortiums of two to six companies.
