Research Fund

The Research Fund supports Royal Society of Chemistry members with limited access to research funds to start new projects. The scheme particularly targets those working in less well-funded institutes, those in developing countries, and early career researchers. The fund provides up to £5000 for 12 months to cover chemicals, equipment, consumables, specialist software licenses, equipment repairs, and equipment access. This funding opportunity aims to support independent researchers who face short-term funding gaps that impact specific projects, helping them advance their careers through promotion prospects or opportunities for further funding.
