About this opportunity
The Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation for International Scholarly Exchange offers research grants to scholars at academic institutions for Chinese Studies research in the humanities and social sciences. Priority is given to collaborative projects involving institutions in Taiwan, with projects on Taiwan Studies especially encouraged. Research grants are typically awarded for no more than two years and support research-related expenses including research assistants, living costs, and travel expenses. The budget may include summer salary calculated at 1/9 of the scholar's annual salary but does not include regular academic year salary for the researcher. The Foundation encourages collaborative research projects and applications with matching funds from other sources.
