About this opportunity
The Research Grants for Graduate Students (RGGS) program supports research and creative activities initiated and conducted by SIUE classified graduate students to enhance their academic progress. Although faculty advisors oversee the research or creative activities, the purpose of this program is to support graduate students' work, particularly as it relates to their theses or final projects. Students may apply for grants up to $500 to support their research expenses including commodities, supplies, travel for data collection, contractual services, and equipment. Applications are accepted twice annually with spring and fall deadlines. The program is designed to help graduate students advance their research while maintaining good academic standing and enrollment during the grant tenure.
