About this opportunity

The DAAD Research Grants program offers doctoral students and early postdoctoral researchers the opportunity to realise a research project at a state or state-recognised university or a non-university research institute in Germany. The programme supports research stays during a doctorate or in the early postdoc phase, working in agreement with a scientific supervisor in Germany. Doctoral students can receive funding for 2 to 12 months, while postdocs can receive funding for 2 to 6 months. The scholarship provides monthly payments, insurance coverage, travel allowances, and additional benefits such as language training for stays longer than six months. The program is designed to support academic, professional and personal development through research collaboration in Germany.
