About this opportunity
The Schlesinger Library Research Support Grants provide financial support to scholars and serious researchers at any career stage beyond graduate school to conduct research in the library's collections. Grants of $3,000 are awarded on a competitive basis to support work with materials available only at the Schlesinger Library. Applicants must have a doctoral degree or equivalent research and writing experience and be located at least 60 miles away from Cambridge, MA. Priority is given to researchers who have demonstrated research productivity and whose projects require the use of materials unique to the Schlesinger Library. Awards are announced in early April 2026 and must be used for research at the library from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
