About this opportunity
The Researcher Development and Travel Grant provides support of up to £500 for PhD students and early career scientists in both industry and academia wishing to undertake activities that support their research career. The activities can be virtual or in-person and include presenting work at conferences, developing new skills by attending training courses, or developing networks by organizing a scientific meeting. The grant is designed to support researcher development across three key areas: knowledge development through conference participation, skills development through training courses and researcher development tools, and networking through organizing scientific meetings or visiting collaborators. All costs must be essential to undertake the activity and reasonable and appropriate for the planned work.
