Residence Life Scholarship

The Residence Life Scholarship is awarded annually to undergraduate students at the University of Alberta who demonstrate leadership qualities through active involvement in extracurricular activities within the residence community. This scholarship is endowed by Utility Services, Real Estate and Parking Services, and Housing and Food Services at the University of Alberta. The fund was established to encourage a stronger academic focus in residence, which will potentially benefit many students by creating additional resources such as peer tutors, academic advisors, and general role modeling. Recipients must maintain satisfactory academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be entering their second, third, or fourth year of studies in any undergraduate degree program. Selection is based on both leadership qualities demonstrated through residence community involvement and academic standing.
