About this opportunity

Kultur- och fritidsnämnden in Olofström municipality annually awards two separate youth leader scholarships to individuals active in Olofström associations with child and youth activities. The award recognizes a person who is engaged, an inspirer, and goes the extra mile for the association's children and young people. The person focuses on children and young people's development in their leadership. The scholarships are awarded to one woman, man, or non-binary person each, amounting to 5,000 SEK and a diploma. The scholarship can never be awarded to two people of the same gender identity or two non-binary people at the same time.

Review process

Association boards nominate one or more candidates for the scholarship. Kultur- och fritidsnämnden selects recipients in spring.

Restrictions

  • The person must be active in an Olofström association with youth activities
  • Must have performed meritorious work within the association's youth work
  • Work during the past year will be valued higher
  • Cannot be awarded to two people of the same gender identity at the same time
