Returning Veteran Student Assistant Fund

The Returning Veteran Student Assistant Fund was established by Mr. Stanford Lipsey in 2009 to support student veterans at the University at Buffalo. This award is specifically designed for student veterans enrolled in any undergraduate program who are within three semesters of graduation. Recipients must demonstrate high academic performance, complete the FAFSA, and have demonstrated financial need. The award provides financial assistance to help veterans complete their undergraduate education. This is classified as an award rather than a scholarship, and recipients receive payment via paper check, a process that takes 2-4 weeks after selection and completion of the Post-Acceptance application.
