RG Glassford Scholarship for Excellence in Physical Education and Recreation

The RG Glassford Scholarship for Excellence in Physical Education and Recreation is awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement entering the third year of studies in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation at the University of Alberta. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate both academic excellence and leadership qualities. Recipients are selected based on their academic standing and proven leadership skills in student governance, athletics, or campus recreation. This endowed scholarship was established by Dr. Gerry Glassford to support outstanding students pursuing studies in physical education and recreation fields.
