About This Opportunity
One award, valued at $2,000, will be provided annually to an outstanding undergraduate student entering Year One of any program in the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science (excluding Software Engineering). Selection will be based on a combination of academic excellence and financial need as determined by the University of Waterloo. This entrance bursary is made possible by a donation from Rich Media in memory of Aivars Petersons, who was an amazing member of the programming team and resident math genius at Rich Media. He was a truly kind and genuine person, with a warm spirit, and universally admired among his peers.
