About this opportunity
The Richard A. and Charlotte Cohn Memorial Scholarship Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation to honor Richard A. and Charlotte Cohn who touched the lives of many young people from all walks of life. The scholarships are awarded to members of Temple Emanuel of South Hills whose accomplishments and character merit this award. This single-year scholarship recognizes graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated service to Temple Emanuel and/or participated in other Jewish communal activities throughout their high school years. Recipients must plan to attend an accredited vocational or technical trade school or 2- or 4-year college or university. The scholarship provides financial support averaging $2,500 to help students pursue their post-secondary education goals.
