Richard and Elizabeth Madter Entrance Scholarships

Several scholarships, valued at up to $3,500 each, are presented annually to outstanding students entering Year One of Electrical or Computer Engineering and one to a student entering Year One of an honours co-op program in the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. These entrance scholarships are awarded to Canadian citizens and permanent residents based on academic performance, the Admission Information Form (AIF), contest results as administered through CEMC (for Math students only), and online video interviews (for Engineering students only). No separate application is required as students are automatically considered based on their admission application materials.
