Richard and Michael Spencer Sprinter Award

The Richard and Michael Spencer Sprinter Award is awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any undergraduate or graduate degree who are members of the Track and Field program, and are sprinters (300m maximum distance). Selection is based on the level of excellence shown in the sport, the potential to develop as a significant contributor to the Track and Field program, contributions made to the Track and Field program, and academic standing. This award is funded annually by Richard and Michael Spencer to support student athletes who demonstrate both athletic and academic excellence in their pursuit of higher education at the University of Alberta.
