Richard E. Garman Endowment Fund

The Richard E. Garman Endowment Fund was established in 2002 by Richard E. Garman to support graduate students in civil, structural, or environmental engineering at the University at Buffalo School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. The scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to students who demonstrate both financial need and strong academic achievement, with a particular focus on those who have an interest in environmental issues. Domestic students must complete the FAFSA to demonstrate financial need, while international students are required to submit a financial need statement through the general application. This endowment reflects the donor's commitment to supporting the next generation of engineers working on environmental challenges.
