About This Opportunity
The Richard Eaton Scholarship in Music is awarded annually to a convocating or continuing student with superior academic achievement in the Bachelor of Music program. The recipient is selected on the basis of outstanding musical merit. If awarded to a convocating student, the recipient must be continuing their musical education at an institution or under a teacher approved by the Department. If no suitable candidate can be found, the award will not be given. This endowed scholarship was established by friends of the late Professor R.S. Eaton to honor his legacy and support talented music students at the University of Alberta.
