Richard L. Wise - Lester B. Stoner Scholarship in Geography

The Richard L. Wise - Lester B. Stoner Scholarship in Geography is a merit-based scholarship awarded to students who have demonstrated excellence in the field of Geography at Eastern Illinois University. The scholarship recognizes academic achievement and supports students pursuing undergraduate degrees in Geography. Recipients must be junior or senior class status students with a declared major in Geography and maintain an overall GPA greater than 3.0. The scholarship is awarded annually in the Spring semester and the amount varies. Financial need may be considered as a determining factor when two equally qualified students are being evaluated. Students are automatically considered for this award upon completion of the General Application through the Eastern Illinois University scholarship portal.
