The Rick Girard Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student who has a love of writing and is enrolled at Red Deer Polytechnic in a credit or collaborative program during the current Fall/Winter term. The scholarship recognizes students who maintain strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 2.70 and demonstrate quality writing as evaluated by an independent panel of judges.
