About This Opportunity
The Rio Tinto Scholarship provides full tuition fees and an annual stipend to outstanding undergraduate students from specific countries pursuing degrees in Earth Science and Engineering at Imperial College London. The scholarship is open to prospective students ordinarily resident in Argentina, Guinea, Madagascar, China, Mongolia, or South Africa who have received an offer of admission to study a full-time BSc or MSci in the Department of Earth Science and Engineering. Three awards are available for the 2026/2027 academic year. Candidates are assessed based on academic achievement or potential and information submitted in the scholarship application form. Completed applications will be reviewed following the release of UK A Level results around mid-August, with successful applicants being notified no later than three weeks after results are released.
