Rittners stipendiefond

Stiftelsen Karin och Gösta Rittners stipendiefond provides travel stipends to young, promising authors. The foundation's purpose is to promote the education of young students, authors, and artists through stipends. Sveriges Författarförbund (Swedish Writers' Union) announces this travel stipend every other year according to the foundation's statutes, alternating with announcements by the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. The stipend must be used for a study trip, and after the trip, the stipend recipient must submit a detailed account of their journey to the foundation's board. Applicants do not need to be members of Sveriges Författarförbund. The Writers' Union submits at least three nominations to the foundation's board, which makes the final decision on stipend distribution.
