RJ Young Scholarships

The RJ Young Scholarships are provided through the Public Trustee of South Australia, which acts as Trustee for Educational Trusts that support students studying specific courses. These scholarships are valued at $8,000 AUD each and four awards are available annually. The scholarships support students enrolled in mining-related programs at Federation University Australia, including the Graduate Certificate in Mining Operation Health & Safety, Graduate Diploma of Mining, Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) (Honours), or Master of Engineering Technology (Mining Engineering). Preference is given to students who are employees or children of employees at the Port Pirie smelter. The scholarships are open to domestic, international, refugee, and migrant students who are either continuing or commencing their studies at the Ballarat location.
