R.K. Mellon Family Scholarship/Ligonier Valley Endowment Fund

The R.K. Mellon Family Scholarship/Ligonier Valley Endowment Fund was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation to provide scholarships to students in the Ligonier Valley School District. This single-year scholarship award provides financial support averaging $5,000 to graduating high school seniors who plan to pursue higher education. The scholarship is designed to support students who demonstrate academic excellence with a minimum 3.5 GPA and active community involvement. Recipients may attend 2-year or 4-year colleges, universities, or accredited vocational and technical trade schools. Immediate family members of any member serving on the Ligonier Valley Endowment Board of Governors are not eligible for this scholarship.
