RMIT-CSIRO Next-Gen PhD in AI and Machine Learning in Service Robots

About this opportunity

This PhD scholarship supports research to investigate, design and implement machine learning algorithms for the purpose of robot vision, perception, inspection and autonomy of service robots. The project will be completed in the STEM College and is funded by a 3.5-year scholarship under a Data61/CSIRO Next Generation Artificial Intelligence program in collaboration with Downer Group. The program provides comprehensive support including stipend, training expenses, travel funding, and a 6-month industry placement opportunity with practical application in mechanical services and robotics.
