About this opportunity
This PhD scholarship opportunity focuses on investigating, designing and implementing machine learning algorithms for human and machine collaboration. The project will be completed in the STEM College and is funded by a 3.5-year scholarship under a Data61/CSIRO Next Generation Artificial Intelligence program in collaboration with Yellow Fin Robotic Solutions. The successful candidate will work on developing machine learning methods, especially deep learning models and artificial neural networks, to advance human-machine collaborative intelligence. The program includes a 6-month industry placement opportunity with the industry partner, providing valuable practical experience alongside academic research. The scholarship provides comprehensive funding including stipend, training expenses, and travel support.
