About this opportunity
The RMIT Indigenous Accommodation Scholarship provides financial assistance towards accommodation in Melbourne for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students who are relocating from interstate or regional Victoria to study at RMIT University. The scholarship supports students throughout the duration of their program, with payments made fortnightly rather than as a lump sum. Eligible students must register with RMIT's Ngarara Willim Centre and provide documentation confirming their Indigenous heritage. The scholarship is designed to assist students who face financial disadvantage or other circumstances that impact their ability to study, including those receiving government benefits, living with disabilities, experiencing personal difficulties, or coming from under-represented backgrounds.
