About this opportunity
The Rob Saik Bar None Award in Agriculture is awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing entering the first year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta. This award is available to students entering from high school, transferring from another post-secondary institution, or continuing in the first year in specific agriculture programs including the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Bachelor of Science in Agricultural/Food Business Management with a major in Agricultural Business Management, or Bachelor of Science in Animal Health. Selection is based on demonstrated leadership through involvement in volunteer, community, sports, or political activities, combined with academic standing. Preference is given to students whose family's primary source of income is from farming. The award is funded through an endowment by Rob Saik, BSc Agriculture 1983 and former Bar None Director.
