About this opportunity
The Robert "Bob" Kennedy Memorial Scholarship has been developed to support students enrolled in a mining-related course who are experiencing financial hardship. The Scholarship serves as a tribute to Robert "Bob" Kennedy, the esteemed Chairman of Ramelius Resources, who tragically passed away in 2018 following a brief illness. This need-based scholarship provides financial support to domestic students undertaking mining-related undergraduate programs at the Western Australian School of Mines (WASM) in Kalgoorlie. The scholarship aims to assist students from low socio-economic backgrounds who demonstrate financial hardship while pursuing their education in mining geology, engineering surveying, extractive metallurgy, mining science, metallurgical engineering, or mining engineering. Recipients must maintain satisfactory academic performance and remain enrolled at the Curtin Kalgoorlie campus throughout the scholarship period.
