Robert "Dink" Smyser Golf Scholarship

The Robert "Dink" Smyser Golf Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship offered to students at Eastern Illinois University. This renewable scholarship supports students who were in the top 50% of their graduating class, with preference given to those whose home address is within a 50-mile radius of Charleston, Illinois. Recipients must maintain a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester and uphold a cumulative GPA of 3.0. The scholarship can be awarded for up to four years, provided recipients continue to meet the eligibility criteria. The award is announced in spring and awarded in fall. Recipients may reapply for subsequent years if they maintain the required academic standards and have no disciplinary actions brought against them.
