About This Opportunity
The Robert E. Gallegos Scholarship is awarded to select School of Education undergraduate, graduate, post-baccalaureate, and/or international students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate engagement in the activities of the Roberto Hernandez Center and/or in the activities of other UWM or community-based organizations that support Latino/a communities. Recipients must have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), if applicable, and demonstrate academic merit with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. This scholarship supports students pursuing education degrees while actively contributing to Latino/a community engagement initiatives.
