About this opportunity
The Robert Edward Burns Scholarship is awarded to select School of Education undergraduate and/or international junior and senior students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This need-based scholarship supports students enrolled in the Mathematics Education, 4-12 or Science Education, 4-12 programs within the School of Education. Recipients must have graduated from a high school within the state of Wisconsin, demonstrate financial need as determined by FAFSA, and maintain academic merit with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. The scholarship provides $1,000 to support the educational expenses of deserving education majors preparing to become mathematics or science teachers in secondary schools.
